Is it better to have one domain or many domain names?

I am selling a couple of different types of dvd products

    4 dvds on guitar lessons
    6 dvds on fitness
    3 dvds on massage
1 dvd on making money with stocks

one domain for all of them like

    howtovideosite.com

    or
    learnguitarfast.com
    homefitnessvideos.com
    howtomassagedvds.com
    makemoneywithstocks.com

Wouldn't it be a lot less work in seo to only worry about one domain name?
Or is it worth the extra money to have a domain for each type of product.

    thanks for your advice

As the products are quit different I would recommend separate sites for each one. Besides the individual domain itself will add some value to your SEO of each product.
But from another hand, you will have to do more work in this case.

I my opinion, one site will be just fine for all of this. These are all DVDs on different things. It will show the diversity of products and you may have more people visiting your site. Plus, it will be easier to promote it.

As your niche is selling dvd's, I would recommend only one site, as then you will focus on a single website rather than doing seo for every other website. It would make things difficult for you...Your main strategy should be to focus on your sales rather making different websites. Hope this helps!!

Well all 4 niche is different as you have listed above so you must have at least 3 domain name for 4 topics.

    1. guitar lessons
    2. fitness and massage
    3. making money with stocks

    Good luck!

I think one website is OK because you're just selling DVDs.Try to make it more attractive and focus on it.I think
    things will be better.

I would suggest the old (from expired) domain with some links, and subdirectories for each section like:
    DOMAIN/learnguitarfast
    DOMAIN/homefitnes
    DOMAIN/howtomassage
    DOMAIN/makemoney

P.S. On the other hand - doing everything at once, do not get anything...

It'd be a bit more work, but I'd make 5 separate sites: one for each product, and one that sells all of them. By using separate sites for each product potential clients may find you that might not otherwise. To save time from a design standpoint you could make a template to use for each site, and just modify the content.

Defiantly one, because then you save money on all the domains, work on the website and as you say seo.

    Go for a single website.

According to your niche: You are selling DVDs of multiple categories. Your main product is DVD and your sub category can be anything. So lets do it under one roof; with one domain.

According to SEO: By having a single website, it will be easy for you to manage your SEO campaigns. Try to use more web pages, like, separate web page for every product you offer. This way you can utilize more keywords effectively in title tag and content.

PS: Once your site is UP, you can buy 1 or 2 related domains to redirect it to your main domain (but it is not SEO friendly)

    Good luck,

In my opinion, for the guitar in one single domain name, fitness and message in a single domain name and making money with domain names of others. So divided into categories. Do not forget to create a display that can make people who see it become interested, That way you can more quickly sell your goods.
