    Hi guys,
I have placed a lot of content on my education website but it is more as attachments ( ms word and pdfs that can be downloaded ). Am I losing out on the value of these for SEO.
Does google add their content value to the reference page to which they are linked for downloading ?
Should I make them as individual pages using the on page SEO tools and link them to the reference page
    Any help is appreciated.

i think if you make individual pages that would help better.

I would think it's better to have them in pages, and also available for download.

I suggest you have your attachments as web-pages. Attachments are one among the reason for high bounce rate. I suggest this to gain more visitor to gain more visitor to your site.

Thanks for your comments. I think it would be worthwhile to make them into pages and also offer them as a downloadable attachment.
