Is it better to get an Expired Domain or a New one?

I'd like to get feedback from DP members whether or not it is advisable to get an Expired Domain or a new domain to gain adsense revenue from domain parking.

expired domains can be expensive. Make sure you do your homework before buying.
You will get no revenue from a brand new domain from domain parking.

There may be several reasons why the previous owner did not renew the domains. One of them could be that he must have tried them and they must have not worked.

I suggest a new domain name, especially for AdSense. You never really know the reputation a domain name. There is certainly a reason why this domain is expired. May be you can try to write to Google, but I am not sure if someone will care about this. Personally I do not see any advantages with an expired domain, unless it has a lot links to it (it could be good).

for good PR, old names will be better as long as there is no bad record on them.if someone offers old names with very low price, you have to be careful because that names might be blocked by google or other search englines as that name might connect to black seo or spamming.

I've never had a problem with accidentally registering a "banned" domain.
