I should know this and i think i do but i would appreciate some heavy weight help on this one just to make sure i am doing the right thing. My Dilema: I have two domain names (pr3) that are doing great the way they are, forwarded right to the clickbank affiliate pages. The are masked and the keywords, title and description in the forward are awesome and working. Heres my question. I also have a subdomain that is the same niche on a different website that is doing good. I want to know should i forward the names that are forwarded directly to the clickbank affiliate url's to the sub-domain and get the boost from the added pr. I figure that way i get the pr boost and quite wasting it on the clickbank affiliate links and also get the added benifit of link boosts to the othe sites linked to the sub-domain. You can't add links if a domain is forwarded straight to the affiliate url. The ones forwarded to the affiliate url are selling and pr3 ranked, i don't want to mess up a good thing. Please give me input on this because i am going against my better judgement by wasting that pr rank. It should go up this update and then it will be wasted even more but i also don't want to waste the couple thousand bucks i am making with it set up like it is. I hope that isn't too confusing because it confused me and i am writing it.
I understand exactly what you are saying. My main concern would be that if a domain is forwarded directly to a clickbank affiliate page you lose the benefit of organic ranking...which you may not even care about. Am I correct on that assumption. Personally I feel if a well optimized website is allowed to climb through the rankings, a few good top 10 rankings may alleviate the need to consistently spend on PPC advertising...if that is indeed currenlty your primary form of advertising. Am I on target?
Actually thats why the decison is hard because the 2 pr3's are doing excellent in organic. I don't even do adwords and still make a couple grand off these two.
