My site is proxypeter.com and as you can see on the site I have a lot of keywords in a small description. Is this good for my search engine rankings? Would it be better to focus on one or two keywords?
I see more sometimes . Anyway - don't pay to much attention to description. It takes a few minutes to set up good meta keywords and this can archieve everyone so it difficult to shine amongst the other sites so it hard to expect, this will improve your search engine rankings. I think your meta is enough for search engines, now it's time for next step

create a phrase where you can put all the possible keywords you want to target... just remember to limit your keyphrase into 4 or 5 words...
You were right in your OP, it would be better to focus on only one or two keywords. You can have many keywords in your meta tag but trying to optimise your site for many keywords is difficult. Better to aim for only a couple of keywords first.
