    Hi,

I'm little confused about automated reciprocal linking. Every one knows about linksmetro. Those sites whoch uses it 99% of them have automated link management system. The script checks for reciprocal link and add a site automatically.

Those sites are not crap sites, they are well established in their respective fields. But I fear to exchange link with them.

is it really bad if any one exchange link with a site whose link management system is like "add links instantly" ?

If you know about it properly please share your knowledge. Thanks in advance.

If there is a patter that Google can track it is probably dangerous.

If there is no patter and no footprints then only use it for a small part of your backlinks. The whole trick in SEO is to use many different techniques. So to get backlinks you should use link baits, paid links, directory links, footer links, coop links, link vault, pyramid linking, reciprocal links, 3-way links, relevant, unrelevant, etc. etc. ..... all mixed.

Any technique should not be a majority of your backlinks. Google wants to see "natural links", so then show it by mixing all up in a mess. :)
