Is it appropriate to have company logos in my site?

I have an affiliate website with product comparisons. To make it look nicer, I want to add the company logo next to the description of each product.

Do you think it is appropriate to add images of companies in my website?
My descriptions make those companies look like the best in the world, so I think I could.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you are using other companies logos make sure you ask them before you use them. Also, does this have anything to do with general marketing?
