You cant do it in free wordpress account, switch to mblogi.com its providing too many cool features for free
Wordpress.com doesn't allow you to place AdSense ads or affiliate links on their blogs. You could create a blogspot.com blog which is also free and they allow AdSense. Free wordpress does not allow Adsense placements, although Adsense would allow it if Wordpress was to. Just get a simple hosting package and it will all be fine, some cost less than $5/month with the domain included so it isn't a major expense, particularly if you take into account the profit you can make from it if you establish it well in the right niche.
