Is it allowed to modify Google search code?

I have a google search code and I want to add at the line type='text' :

and at the line type='submit':

to match with my website design.

Is it allowed? Is it against google policies?

No, you can't modify AdSense for search code, I have sent them an email before and they said I can only remove </image> tag for validation purpose.

 

you are not allowed to change any part of google adsense code. it's against the adsense tos
