is it allowed to have keywords on your site to throw off the ads?

    is it allowed to put keywords on your site such as "loans, debt, credit, etc." to try and change the type of ads that are displayed on your site?

    on this myspace site you will see that the ads are about insurance and loans... here it is:

    if you click view source on this site, you will see the following keywords and more, listed on the bottom of his page in microscopic font:

    york criminal defense lawyer los angeles attorneys refinance car with bad credit



    is something like this allowed?

    I believe that violates the TOS of adsense, as well as quilifies as keyword stuffing.

    First of all, this method is flawed. Using your example above, why would anyone looking for MySpace cursors be clicking on ads about loans and car insurance? Most of the time, effective click-throughs happen when the ads are relevant to the topic of the page.

    Second of all, Riboflavin is correct - it is against TOS. And here it is:
