I couldn't find any answers to this simple question, so if I made a fool out of myself I deeply apologize...
The question is - can I use rel=nofollow on adsense adv???

Well adsense ads has already rel=nofollow tag.
There is no need to add any thing in code. This is against adsense TOS.

I didn't see any rel=nofollow tags to begin with... But is it really against TOS? I mean I don't really change any code, but simply put a little extra html tags... Id like to confirm this info, cause if Im breaking some rules I need to change..)

If your adding or changing any of the code even if it is simply to add nofollow to adsense I probably wouldn't do it. They say you may not change or alter the code they give you. Up to you but even though you are not trying anything sneaky I probably wouldn't risk it.

First of all, you must read TOS from Adsense. There you will find that you can't edit your adsense code. Adsense use a frame for their ads so you don't send link juice to advertisers links. Also you must known Google recommends to have nofollow when you sell link/publicity. what do you think, they respect their own policy or not? :))

this is one of the most stupid question i've heard here on DP :p

Adsense code is JavaScript and search engines don't read javascript links so i see no reason for you to worry. Anyway, don't even think to modify the adsense code unless you want to get banned.

In adsense, links are built dynamically and the only way you can access the anchor properties (attributes) is via complicated css and javascript. The links I guess are already not crawlable because they are javascript links. So there is no point in trying to add nofollow to those links.

There is no need to Add "nofollow tag" in Adsense code. It is Against their TOS. you can not change adsense code. Otherwise search engines does not read Java Scripts & the adsense code is of Java script.

those ad codes are anyways javascript, so it is not passing any link benefit if that is what you are worried about, in any case if it does, pass some to google, it is neither going to hurt you nor your adsense income
