I have just read some article about sandbox. If a new domain gets thounds of backlinks in a short time, it will be punished by google. And it seems yahoo also have sandbox.. Any views about that?
depends on the quality of the backlinks, if they are all from directories then its probably not such a good idea.
If they are in the content area of blogs then its fine. Otherwise its bad for a new site to get this many links in a short time.
But I heard no matter the backlinks quility are good or not, they all could fall into sandbox. It will be considered link factory as you bought so many links.
Eh to be honest no one can answer this question for you... only google... but from experience, directory links ie don't do my new sites wrong, i remember when i used something like coop on new sites though, it didnt do good.
Hi, If you're submitting links to 1000 directories in 1 day i don't they will get approved in 1 day too. It may take upto 3 months to get approved. Usually 100% directories never approve..some rejects, some approve and those who approve take time...and then search engines also take time to crawl...so it all really depends what and from where you're getting it done. Thanks.
People do not only get backlinks from directories. If you buy a sitewide link you may get thousands of backlinks in a second.
So what happens if you do get a sitewide or two and get a couple thousand? Do you get penalized for that? If so why do websters buy sitewides???
Hi, As I said in the first post, it is only for new domain. I am confused about buying backlinks for new domain.
keep buying back links if you want your directory to be on top If you had bought a new domain just promote it by posting in forums ,submitting to free directories and just wait for an PR update you may get around three then the real work starts there after you want to buy links for promoting your directory further by buying links form Paid directories and buying links to increase your PR further
Yes I think so since I have a heard that search engines will penalize you if you get too much backlinks for a new domain within 2to 3 months
Google doesn't penalize you if you have too many links too fast, they devalue the links. In other words, they don't take anything away from your rankings, but just ignore the links for a time period. As far as a certain number, there is none. It's all a large formula based on tons of different factors.
This is interesting because what about new domains that are novel and are suddenly being linked to from all over the place? I guess if the discussion is centered around directories maybe search engines are smart enough to figure it out, but I think in the case of organic links there is no such thing as too many too fast.
