How one can identify a forum is a dofollow forum? Because I only know by list here and there presented. For example I know DP is dofollow forum, but how to identify it as a dofollow forum.

Answer which can explain a novice like me will greatly be appreciated.

If you are using Firefox, you can try to make use of the SearchStatus tool and add it to your browser. It displays the PR and alexa rank of any website, and also has an option to highlight nofollow links. If you enable this, nofollow links will be highlighted in any website you come across, and you'll know that a link is a dofollow link because it's not highlighted.

I use SEOQuake - FireFox plugin - it strikes off the no-follow links available on the page. Simple ;) :)

Simply highlight the link, right click and then click on "view source"
A window will come up, If it says "nofollow" or "external nofollow" anywhere, then its not dofollow
