Is Isnare Dead?

I've been trying to get onto http://www.isnare.com/ for the last couple days to check on some articles that I paid to have them promote. Over the last couple days I just get "Firefox can't find the server at www.isnare.com."

Anybody have an idea what's happening here?

I doubt they are dead as they were one of the most popular article directories - they must have had a hacking problem and are sorting it out now.

I too have been trying to log onto isnare for the last 48 + - hours with no success. I thought they were too good to be true at the price. I look forward to them coming back online soon as I have not found anything like them. Is there anything similar to them out there?

I already stopped submitting articles to Isnare. The approval time takes forever.

I'm in the same boat. I wonder if they are just so overwhelmed that they are taking a break to catch up. I hope that's it, they're great. I would gladly pay more for the service.

Yep, I agree. Probably had some problem about hacking or maybe some basic adjustment on the database

I have been trying for two days as well. I paid for some articles to be distributed 3 weeks ago and my articles are still sitting there. I have been waiting too long for them to distribute my articles. I hope they come back so I can tried to get my money back.... They are not the same.... I've had enough! Anyone know of any other article distribution services that work and are legit? Let me know. Thanks

They're back, sort of. I could log in but they have posted this message:

SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE, ISNARE.COM IS CURRENTLY UNDERGOING AN IMPORTANT TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE FOR SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT.

I'm happy that they didn't go away.

I tried logging in just now and could not do so, although at least the front page of the site is there. I have articles and $$ with them and wonder if I should stay with them as they must be horribly behind by now.

You might want to check any articles you've recently submitted. It appears they have lost some data.

The article I submitted just prior to their problem started seems to have been lost

My articles were submitted and marked for distribution on 8 May 09, but until now still in the pending. I wrote to them 3 times and got no feedback.

What had happened to them actually? Still fixing the bugs?

If they are struggling, perhaps someone should make them and offer - you might pick up a bargain!

I have emailed isnare with urgency as I submitted articles to them over a month ago as well as paid them money to distribute the articles. They have not responded to the emails so if they aren't dead they are either ignoring the emails or so overwhelmed or ................
Although I don't like making rash judgments they are acting like they are out of business or perhaps should be. Harsh-well they do have nine articles of mine, I can't even log on with my log in information, and they have my money.
I really wish they would get it together but it appears they are in trouble- dead? I just want them to do what they agreed to do when I signed up, no more, no less. Does anyone have any more information?
