I don't know how publishers can make any money with most of the products on Clickbank. If you are somehow making money with this stuff, how do you get it in front of people who will actually scroll down that 25000 word, single page product presentation and decide to sign up? I think those single landing page sites are crap, and I would never personally even get half way through one. Maybe I just don't know the techniques to be a productive Clickbank publisher...but if someone is seriously making money with some of those products, I'd love to hear your technique.
some are crap I do agree but there are some good products on clickbank you just have to do a thorough searchon the marketplace
It depends on type of a product. Not all of them have so long sales pages....That usually applies to make money online type of stuff.
What do you mean by Junk? I would definitely say most are over-hyped. They have quite a few decent CB products; I think you might have just seen the make money ones. Look for niche ones like health issues and such, they aren't as much "BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY!"
It's all in the eye of the beholder, right? Most of the stuff, I'd refer to as junk, but it's because I don't have any desire to buy it. If I had excessive sweating issues, I'd probably buy a product on excessive sweating. If I suspected my wife/gf was cheating on me, I might pick up a product on identifying the signs.
I guess one more! I'll admit that most of the stuff I've seen on there is the money making ebook sites. I'll keep looking around and see if there's any niche products that might work.
WHat I bot was tuned out to be how to make money in CLickbank. Like set up google ad word to direct traffic into the other person's website so that i can get a cut.
I'd say that's part of the work behind it. Looking for some thing someone else wants to buy and how well you can write some thing that will get them to buy it. No one is going to say look at X, I sell Y and make lots of money or go here and use these adwords. We need to do our own research. I'm still looking, but in the mean time, I'm setting up something else. Once I get that going, I'll add, some click campains, once I figure it out. Start with one thing, get good at it, that add something else to it.
I don't think you can make that judgment unless you buy 98% of the products. However, after careful research I did find one product that is crap. Well...it's about crap at least. http://www.housebreakyourpuppyin7days.com/ Oh and don't forget those awful IBS products. They are also about crap. Why do people waste time to post "hey this sucks". just don't deal with it if you don't like it. Go into an "Everything is a $1" store sometime. there is a lot of products in there. Some are crap. Some are a bargain. That is life and that is business. From food to stock picks. Some crap - Some good. Move on.
If you'd bother to re-read my original post, you would see that I say.. "Most of this stuff seems like crap..BUT...if someone is actually making money with a technique to sell this crap, I'd be interested to hear some suggestions"..
Ok, after digging, and digging, I finally found a product on CB that has a decent presentation site. I did a little research and put together an article on ezinearticles.com with some good keyword usage. The competition for the keywords isn't that tough, so I think I can get this product in front of some people fairly quickly...but will they buy it? Time will tell.
christian, I agree with you....you shouldn't have to wade through eye-ball deep hyped up sales pitches or "sales letters". Not knocking those of you that it works for, however, there has to be a better, more professional method for all involved. CB is what it is....and until someone establishes a top-notch, quality control driven business/ consumer class site with much broader content and appeal and without the conflicts of interest and secrecy it will be the norm. I know others exist...just not any that I see headed in the proper direction, in my opinion.
