Is India in a tech revolution?

    There's no hiding it, but many people online are from India and this used to be rare, but it's become more common to see them.

    When did you guy start getting computer and internet in your homes? Are they high speed connections mostly or do many of you rely on slower connections? You guys still in the dazed area when it comes to how amazing the interweb is.

    According to Wikipedia, 7.0% of the population in India have "internet access"...

    The total subscriber base for internet users in India as of 2009 - 81 million.
    The entire population of Australia as of 2010 - 22 million.

    Basically here internet connections are being prominent now in every home :)
    But a 1% of Indian uses DP
    There are other Guys who just surf in Orkut and other Stuffs! :)

    i got a 1 Mbps connection with 20 gb limit for $33

    and yes high speed internet is becoming a reality in india

    No they are catching up though

    but what they need to be in a revolution for is garbage collecting and raw sewage processing what a dirty place
