I don't see anything that would equal a huge update. Care to give more details as to why you think there is a huge update going on?

It wouldn't suprise me if there was something going on. We know that bigdaddy is almost propagated accross all the datacenters and their scrambling to re-crawl alot of websites. I doubt we're looking at an algorithm update, most likely just trying to re-crawl pages and as it does so rankings would fluctuate. Then, a PR update would follow. Note: everything I said above is speculation. PS- tha middle link Minstrel posted is a REALLY good one.
See the threads I mentioned above. Big Daddy reduced the number of pages in the main index for many sites and dumped a lot of pages into the Supplemental Index. Google has said previously this does not affect PageRank and it does not necessarily affect your Google ranking. It's a way for Google to keep the main directory clean and fast with the most relevant pages, while making sure that other pages are still available for searches. As Matt Cutts has said a couple of times, Google is working on recrawling sites that "lost' a lot of pages to Supplemental - give it time. As for i_am_dhaval's post (does every one in India have i_am for their first name?), there may be many reasons for a drop in Google ranking - it may have nothing to do with an update, Big Daddy or anything else. But if it is fallout from Big Daddy, give it time - it may correct itself in a couple of weeks.
No idea. But I'll give you some free advice: If you are going to remain in any aspect of the internet business world, develop some patience.
Don’t angry with me I just asking this is first time for my site a huge hits are down so please don’t mind
I'm not angry. I'm just pointing out that you're going to have a heart attack if you let every day-to-day fluctuation stress you out. The only people who know what Google is doing or going to do are those people who work at Google.
