Can someone confirm if Hubpages is dofollow? When I checked my old article at Hubpages, I found the link I placed inside it was Rel=NOFOLLOW I don't think Hubpages is dofollow....or maybe they revert old articles to nofollow....
hub pages are index with in a few hours.... Its my personal experience.. so... its will certainly help you to get links and traffic.
Yes defo are. Just did one and it appeared in my backlinks within 2 days! You need to keep the hubscore high or the dofollow drops off I belive. My hubscore dropped down and the backlink went. So get over and give mine a vote and i will yours (/domainblog)!!
Yes, Hubpages are still a goldmine. Treat your hubs as another of your sites. Send them backlinks and traffic and it will rank in Se.
voting also effect in hub pages.. and your hub... if you have good points your hub will definitely send a good traffic to your website
I think you, the author, has to hit a certain threshold before your article links become DOFOLLOW. Try having at least 4 articles and see if they become DOFOLLOW.
Your author rank, not the individual article rank, needs to be 75 or above. I think that information is in their FAQ or on some other page. When your author score reaches 75, ALL article links ae DOFOLLOW, otherwise they are all NO FOLLOw. It's all or nothing with hubpages, and I am really enjoying that site.
I agree with tyler durden. You do need an overall hubscore of at least 75 for dofollow links. Getting a high overall hubscore is as simple as publishing lots of hubs and getting some traffic to those hubs. Both hubpages and squidoo are great sources of one way links and direct traffic. It does take time to take full advantage of these types of websites.
Need author rank for your links to be do follow. Pretty clever way for them to get us webmasters to poke around and make comments before spamming our articles on their site. Haha.
Hi Can anyone help a Hubpage newbie...? I have created a hubpage, but looking on the hubpage FAQ, its says that your account will be flagged as over promotional if you "link repeatedly to the same site within a hub or across many hubs". Surely, the aim of a lot of people creating hubs is to help their SEO? To stop being flagged, would it help if I linked some hub pages in the future to another website i have created just to point to my main website or are hubpage not overly bothered about 'over promotion' so continue to link to my main website? Many thanks.
I have written 7 or 8 hubpage articles, and i have ONLY linked to one of my websites. I did make sure that I kept the number of links to 2, since I have read that your article will be flagged within the hour with more than 2 links to the same site. So far no problems. I would just say make sure you keep it on the down low, and if it even starts to look spammy, it is spammy.
I noticed that my first hub page was crawled within 24 hours.. Created one to point to my site.. But it looks like that you need to have substantial amount of words before it accepts outbound links..
