Simple and very easy to learn, I don't think HTML will go away anytime soon. I can see in about 40 years talking to my grandkids about it and reacting the same way I did when I learned my dad used to code in COBOL though!

HTML can't die unless every site is 100% flash. And we all know that does not work well.

Every thing has a life span, Probably somewhere in the Future a new and better web language is created to replace HTML they would probably call it HTML2 or some other cool language :D!

But for now i dont think it will die within our lifetime!
HTML codes are my buddy! :D

Well this thread was to help me understand more about the past of future of html. I honestly had to ask since The Screensavers always started somewhere in the middle rather than the very miniscule things. Yeh i love using HTML to build a quick 10 minute site theme and what not. Who wouldn't feel accomplished after finding the Copright HTML code just to get that cool little symbol.
