    There's no "best" for domain name registration and hosting. It's subjective.

    I've read numerous positive reviews and few complaints about hostgator.

    Hostgator is great if you want to host many domains on one cpanel account for only about $10 a month. There's noone that comes close to their competetiveness.

    Yeah I'd recommend hostgator for hosting and godaddy/namecheap for domains
