Is Hostgator best hosting? How many people use Hostgator?

i think that not best but popular hosting
because many publisher host here

 

I have been using them for almost 3 years now (started using them even before I joined DP ) and have not experienced downtime even once (really...at least not when I checked my sites even while traveling in different time zones)..I have also tried bluehost and hostmonster. They are good companies too but not that user-friendly IMO..so, I thought of sticking with HG only and I am loving my decision every day. It just worked out so well for me. I wanted peace of mind---HG provided me...simple reason to trust and use them for like forever...

Without a doubt hostgator is a very popular hosting company but are they the best? I think most people would agree there isn't a best, only what is best for you and so far hostgator gets lots of praise as they should. The owner is very active in the hosting community and digs in and gets his hands dirty when need be. That is what's great about hostgator. You can email the owner directly and he'll take care of you. As I said before, for a company of their size that is impressive. Also, you can't argue with the fact that they have one of the best affiliate programs in the industry which is what made them so popular. Everyone and their mama's were promoting hostgator.

 

I've heard good and bad about them. I looked into it when I was planning on where to set up my site. Ultimately I decided not to go with them because I hear they oversell space.

 

Been running HG for almost a year now.

HG has great support, & my site has never been down.

 

BTW, the reason I chose HG was I kept asking them ?'s before I signed up with them.

I kept asking all kinds of ?'s just to test their Live Chat Support, I bet they were like, who the hell is this guy, lol.
