Is Hostbig.com good to register and host my website?

    Which ever host you choose, I do advice not to register your domain and host on thesame site. Most especially don't fall for the free domain tact because you end up disputing who owns the domain as has been noticed recently.

    Yes I highly suggest you register your domain name yourself away from the company you choose for hosting services. This way everything about your domain name is yours and not your hosts.

    As for hosting, what exactly are you looking for? VPS, Dedicated or a small shared account? Do you have a budget in mind? Are you looking for managed or unmanaged services?
