Is having matching keywords in your domain any good for broad match searches?

    Hi guys and girls

I was wondering does having certain keywords in your domain name help with broad match (not exact match) searches that contain that word. I know this question has been asked many times before but I am asking specifically in regards to the broad match.

So for example would having a domain like mikesreviews.com help with a search like “laptop model 4567 review”? I appreciate it probably won’t make that much difference and that on page seo and backlinks are much more important, but all those other ranking factors aside will it give it a “bit” of a boost? Or does it make no difference what so ever unless it’s an exact match, assuming that you think it helps with that. Is having matching keywords in your domain any good for broad match searches?

    Many thanks

I doubt if anyone knows the answer to that except maybe Google.
However, if we go by what everyone is preaching, having "reviews" in your domain name is a lot better than not having it if your are going after “laptop model 4567 review” .

keywords in the url helps with search engines but what keywords are used in: Google, Facebook, Myspace, Yahoo, alexa, Bing, twitter, adobe? a url that people can remember is more useful in the long run.
