Is guest blogging really worth it?

Hey everybody,
I have been reading a lot about link building and some of the advice that was mentioned is to engage in guest blogging.
I came across blogsynergy.com and myblogguest.com which both offer platforms to discover guest blogging opportunities.
I wanted to get you opinions first about the effects of guest blogging and second about those 2 websites and if they are any good?

Yeah, if you can write you get free backlinks.

 

Guest Blogging is more than writing a blog post for some other blog, it has got many benefits, which can improve your image as a blogger and also help you promote your own blog by reaching out to communities established by these blogs.

 

There are easier ways to get backlinks. I've tried it when I first started out but I no longer have the patience to work that hard to get backlinks.

 

Guest blogging not only get backlinks. It builds your reputation and indirectly you gain quality traffics in long term.

 

If you work too hard on your blog then slowly over the months you make your blog worth it. Little or no hard work will do no good to you blog. Blog daily and keep your articles unique and never ever copy a post (just a suggestion)

 

Never done it myself, but I"ve heard it's really worth it to get lots of new readers.

Having the backlinks for SEO purposes is actually one of the lesser advantages of guest blogging. The new audience you can gain and possible new connections you can form are much more valuable.
