is googlebot lazy lately?

I have noticed that in the last 2-3 weeks, googlebot is slower in indexing new sites..it comes, gets a few pages, then he gets back after many hours and does the same...no more massive deep crawling.
Anyone noticed same behaviour?

 

Probabale it depends on the amount of links you have for deep pages.

 

I also have a few sites that dont seem to be getting picked up. Even with 301 redirects the index still shows pages that haven't been around for like 6 months.

 

im seeing the same thing.. I only have 145 pages out of about 1200 pages total.. the number of indexed pages goes up each day tho.. so thats good..

 

Well once in a while everyone gets lazy, maybe one day it will become active again. But put revisit statement of 1 day in all your pages so bot is forced to come daily.
