Is Google Update underway?

Hi,

I am observing tremendous change in SERP's and keyword appearance/disappearance. I feel there is certainly something going on since it has not been like this with my sites as I am not doing any activity apart from routine job.

Did anyone else notice such fluctuations?

The rumor is Google is preparing a PR update, or so it would seem based on last years PR update. I think they like to shake things up in their settings every new year. I wouldn't worry too much about it for at least a week or two until things calm down.

Same here. I am feeling the major update is underway. I have seen fluctuated in keywords my websites are currently ranked for. Some of my website PR have got changed, both increased and decreased

Google is still doing pr update. So mostly, they will change rankings soon.

 

For a short period of time some of my inner pages and subdomains showed PR1 - PR4, so probably there is PR update in progres

 

Has anyone witnessed a dramatic change in Google rank over last few weeks? I am asking this because some of my sites have lost rank for several keywords where they on page 2 and 3 of Google SERPs. The site is indexed, number of indexed pages is increasing, it is being crawled almost everyday, the number of back links has gone up but still the rank has taken a severe beating. Any suggestions?

 

I can't wait for the new update because for the first time my site will be ranked.
