    What do you mean by 'merge'? They have already integrated Gtalk & Calendards with orkut accounts as a matter of fact.

    How about saying it this way, "Google adds Google Talk features to Orkut"

    Users can now initiate a chat conversation with the buddy. They can also make use of other Google Talk features like making voice calls, leave voicemail, and transfer files. In addition, users would also get alerts from Orkut on their Google Talk. This includes alerts for new scraps too.
