Are the results returned by Google also dependent on the case used when searching.

Heres an example; I typed in the search 'make money on ebay' and the results I recieved where somewhat different to when I typed 'MAKE MONEY ON EBAY'.

Can someone please clarify this is the case?

Yes there is a slight difference in the listings. But you should be more concerned with how the searches are conducted IMO, because there a bigger difference in the amount of searches. Just something to keep in mind for your anchor text.

Ooops my bad, I meant hypens and and spaces. For instance:
    kdl-52w4100
    kdl 52w4100

As for the listings it's a matter of a few places normally, for example you're listed 7th in lower case and maybe 10th in upper case. Sometimes more sometimes less or none at all. From my experience any way.

No, Google Search is not Case Sensitive, so need not to worry about case sensitivity while optimizing your website for Google..
