No doubt Google is the best search engine so far, but nowadays when i search for any keywords, the result it shows are full of irrelevant or spammy sites. Is it an indication of Google becoming irrelevant and obsolete.
Who knows, google has been acting pretty strange lately. I don’t think this true only for google, MSN also brings a lot of second grade crap in searches.
Those irrelevant results are not Google matter but the sites using hickjacking techniques to be indexed by fetching others' keywords.
Well, that is a poor example. There are only 35 results for the keyword, you can't expect too much from that. Someone please give a good example...I'm sure there are better keywords than that which bring spam pages/results or maybe Google hasn't lost it (yet).
Google is improving but spammers are multiplying their sites every second. It is not a google's algorithm problem. G is trying to clean their index but they are still unable to spot the spammers instead they are losing huge amout of good content from that cleaning.
Fot me the problem now is the instablity in the SERPs every day, and I have a problem that I get different resualts from my friends in the same office , we are sharing the internet connection ???
Heh, the only reason I don't like Google is because it won't let me into the first page of results for high volume keywords... however, I know it is because I don't have anything worthy of being there. It's really a tough call. I know the "rimtrader" example above had a lot of crud, but it showed what looked like good sites first, followed by junk, and I'd imagine that without a space between the words that there simply aren't any/many quality sites to point to. Doesn't it still do the best job on the net? I mean, if you aren't trying to make money off of it, isn't it still be the best?
