Is Google+ really influencing search engine rankings?

Recently I noticed that there're words like "in XXXX Google+ Circles" in the G search results, and that makes me guessing Google is really taking G+ into consideration when providing search results. It is said that all social media like FB and Twitter activities are elements for evaluating a search result but I've never seen as obvious a signal as what is going on with G+. So does that mean G+ has become a must for SEO and marketers?

 

Yeah Google+ content is indexed by Google and displayed prominently in SERPs. This has led some bloggers to produce lengthy, optimized, original content directly onto Google+.I think Google+ only works for SEO purpose.

 

I think it's a pity that Google does. I think Google+ is mostly used for SEO reasons and therefore won't ever be a quality social network.

 

The crux of the matter is that all social media platforms influence your SEO. Google +, Facebook,, twitter... The more talked about your site is the better credibility Google gives the site. Another social platform that's an excellent tool to use to improve ur SEO is Pinterest....they gets indexed quickly and have an awesome effect on SERP rankings

 

I am sure that every marketer use FB or twitter to get finally its online needs and for this GOOGLE launched G+ with all these SEO visible elements, including SERP results way, which will "persuade" all online active users register and have their G+ accunts

 

Google + does have some benefits and i would say it's growing fast. You can start it small right now and when the right time comes, the waves will be big.

 

I had tried something, with G+ but, there weren't any notable result.

 

I am not sure about the effect but sometimes it appears. To promote Google+ over facebook and twitter, google may go for such strategy.

 

Not with the Circles thing (it is actually a credit line which is given to the page/site author and shown only when the author has placed his google+ profile link with an "rel" attribute in the website. And "in XXXX Google+ Circles" cannot determine the page's or site's importance because circles are not representing or recommending a specific page or website, It's just a author's personal friends network. However, Google is considering "+1" button clicks (still planning/looking/researching on how to exactly utilize) in evaluating the search results/rankings. For now it's not a "must", it's just something like a cup of water in the water tank.

 

I haven't seen any of G+ result

 

Seeing Google developed it, sure has to be a benefit over time.

Im using the Google Plus but I still dont know if that one really works.

 

I can say that I post on Google Plus everyday at least 4 or 5 articles and have not noticed an increase in Search engine Ranking.
