Recently When I checked my backlink, I found that I get the backlink from a nofollow link. I didn’t believe on it but it is true. Is Google now read the nofollow link also? If want to check it than you can check the backlink of uk seo expert. There is backlink from smartbloggerz.com, which is a nofollow blog.
Google will index and might show nofollow'ed backlinks, but it simply WONT pass PR nor Anchor Text value to the linked page
In my Google Web Master tool account I can see inbound links from Twitter & Facebook. So thay index nofollow links but don't get PR benefit.
That' s possible because that will still a backlink. The only difference is nofollow link can't help on your seo purposes.
It's hard to say specifically, but as others have said I believe it's just the passage of PR. I still believe that a nofollow link can still help your organic results, however. Perhaps not always the case, but I have notice that after holding about 20 different links from Wikipedia, I saw both short term and long term effects increase dramatically. This may only apply to certain websites such as Wikipedia, however.
Yes, Google can read the Nofollow Links & i have also seen that they show them if they are from authority website but it does not pass any pr.
nofollow backlink is help to get the site indexed (for new site), and no PR effect.. but on the other side, increase traffic and sales..
Many Affiliates and advertisers are using the tag nofollow to block indexing links.. So I thing if Google Found nofollow will completely ignored and not pass link or pr. His case is may be by some mistake...
google follows nofollow link. because i see a link from twitter.com in my google webmaster tools site
Google ignores no follow links so you will receive no benefit from a page rank perspetive, however these links can still be beneficial in terms of visitor traffic
