of course not, but ... This picture made rounds and funny enough, Google has now removed all suggestions containing the term "black" Please digg it http://digg.com/world_news/Google_removes_black_results_in_fear_of_racism_accusations http://www.firetown.com/blog/2009/0...cused-of-racism-google-removes-black-results/
i think them making "black" the only dictionary word not getting suggestive results is the funniest part.
The image isn't fake as far as I know. Google shows a bunch of stuff like that. img33.imageshack.us/img33/603/60397684.png Took the screenshot 5 seconds ago.
I am saying Google is not a racist... I guess Google is just providing the suggestions... But that is quite hilarious.
Of course Google is nit a racist. But..it's really funny..Just like some people don't like Korean song No Body.
haha very funny but i don't think Google is racist but kinda weird why suggest black instead of white for that topic.
Google is racist. But they dont express it this way. And its not against blacks. If you can read 'blacks' then that means they are just popularizing everything 'American' on the internet. This is just a trick cooked up time and again to get some attention in the internet memes. basically if you dont conform to the ideas, whims and affiliations (religious, political, economic) of 'the thought police of the internet' then you are screwed good.
Lol that's funny . A few years back if you searched for "black people" on Google, there would be an AdWords advert offering you to "Buy black people on eBay!".
tested query using firefox.. Check Here using firefox http://www.google.co.id/search?clie...stole+my+car&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 nothing happen like that Result : Its fake
Search suggestions are given all the time and are based on popular search terms. So if this screen capture were from a real result, then that shows what the more popular search query is. Google bases it's suggestions off of search metrics that it compiles daily, not off of it's particular views on race. Your result is irrelevant, the OP stated that all suggestions containing the term "Black" have been removed. So...I'm sorry, but the search you did doesn't mean anything, and the fact that you were using a different browser is meaningless too. Results are pulled from a database based on relevance to the term, not based on relevance and your browser. Not only that, but just because you couldn't duplicate the result doesn't mean that it didn't happen, it just means it didn't happen to you.
lol ... that reminds me. In the past, if you searched, "paris hilton isn't a slut" it would say, Do you mean, "Paris hilton IS a slut"? lol
