Is google PR that important?

For me page rank is not that important because it is one of 200+ factors that influence webpage’s ranking.

 

PR certainly helps (especially when selling links) but PR can change too, so it's important to keep a website up to date with good, relevant content. Don't dwell on PR, but don't ignore it etiher, focus on making a great site with quality backlinks

is very necessary.

Google measures how valuable your site is,based on two things:

How many other sites link to your site.
How valuable those other sites are.

I think PR is one of important factor in G SERP

 

PR is good if you're not under a penalty- I have a PR4 site showing up behind PR0 sites because of goog** penalty- "too high of keyword density"-

 

It is important but first you need to have the content. If you have the content then PR will give a boost to your result in the Search Engine.

 

If your website has good PR then you can put links of other website in your website so other website get links from your website. You can take charge of it.

 

Good PR is good but I don't see the Search Engine placing in it.I have seen 0 PR ranked more than 5 PR.

 

I ignore PR and turned off my toolbar years ago. The PR is only periodically exported and Google seem to be using a NICHE based rank instead.

 

It looks like PR certainly helps but does not harm not having it. Hihih

 

PR does not carry the Kudos it once did and is only really any good if you are either selling the site or selling links to your site then you can command higher prices for a higher PR,the life blood of any site to me is the amount of visitors to the site.If you have both ie a higher PR and lots of visitors that then means just one thing 'mucho wonga'

 

My personal experience says that you can get advertisement offers and handsome money from the advertisers if your website has good PR. Its not directly related to the quality traffic.

Sometimes is PR is relevant when you're selling links which mean higher PR higher $$$ you can get from advertisers.

 

pr is nothing except for site's value but search indexing rank is real thing

 

website reputation is analyze on the basis of google page rank. If There would not be PR then it would not be easy to identify, which website is good and which is not.....

 

It is not important if you don't sell links (ads). PR5 or above is good.
