PR is important and it doesnt usually come with only PR , it should have good quality content, quality traffic...PR could be usueful when you want to link to some site to improve that sites PR, you could even sell text links for high PR websites cheers josh
I think google PR is still important it will determine what site is relevant or not. And how your site has more authority than the others.
In ranking factor not that important at all i can see a lot of site that has a PR1 beats the PR3 or 4 in rankings. Maybe when it comes to Site Authority well it does matter.
Question: Is PR important? My answer: Yes. PR is important especially in ranking at the Google SERP. But it's not the only base in the Google SERP ranking because anchor text and other things are still being considered. However, in a very competitive keyword search, those pages with higher PR have the advantage over those who only have lower PR.
PR is called PageRank. Its a value assigned by google to webpages. PR 5 is excellent. PR 3,4 are also good though.
I would say the most important part about having a high PR is that you can sell your domain for more.
PR is the most important thing when you start for a new website. Although you add original content to your website, if you do not have PR, your link will not be shown at the top on search engines.
