Is google playing tricks with me or am i going crazy ?

I am 99.999999% sure when i checked my earnings a few hours ago i had 1.57$

I logged in to check my analytics account and checked earnings again and noticed my earnings now showing 1.02

Is this common for google to take earning back?

or am i just hallucinating? lol

 

Yes sometimes it happens if they determine a click was invalid.

 

Google can not and never play tricks with anyone.
May be they discover invalid click on your ads. Mind
you, you are lucky that they did not suspend your
account.
Be cool and trust them ok.

 

sometimes analytics produce different result from adsense... or sometimes adsense adjusts when they see something wrong...

 

well at this point i am also feeling same thing it is truely something weired going on.....

 

I've heard of this happening to other people before though I haven't experienced this first hand, so it happens that G recalculates earnings and you are not hallucinating

 

Happened to me also few days back. Something is not right. I hope it doesnt turn into a big blunder.

Yep. I think you got invalid click, so google ignore it and reset ur earning.

 

Yep, they reverse the earnings entry as they found it as invalid.

 

They might have found some clicks invalid...or perhaps their daily revenue target was missed and they are making up for the short fall by deducting some amount randomly from various accounts !
