    They say that the google pagerank is not more important, but in my opinion i consider it important as the unique content factor.

    It has never been important if you ask me. A website with PR1 can have better content then a website with PR6. Also the PR1 website can be ranked higher on keywords then the PR6 website.

    PR is only one of the hundreds of factors Google use in their 'code'

    It is important however if you are looking to sell links on your site as the higher the PR, the higher the price you will get :)

    It's not important enough to me, for me to worry about increasing it.. My webmaster blog is only PR3 yet it's doing great.

    I would prefer to have a site with zero PR but with quality traffic rather than a high PR and low quality traffic,PR does not carry the Kudos it did years ago.I dont even check my PR these days it may help if you are either selling a site or selling links from a higher PR site as you can in theory charge more for the links but me ni its not important anymore.

    If you ask me then the question is absolutely irrelevant. In my view Google is the best search engine due to its unique content, so in my view Google PR is still and always important.

    No, PR is irrelevant (not this question). It's an unhealthy obsession of SEOs and webmasters (focus should be on making good content people enjoy, find useful). If a site is trusted by Google, it can have pr0 pages yet rank quickly. Likewise, it doesn't matter what PR a site has if it's on a topic hardly anyone is interested in.

    PR is a useless number, easy to manipulate and fake. SEOmoz's DA and PA are much more interesting and useful (but still can be manipulated).

    Pagerank is still the important term for the site. Pagerank shows that how much your site hold the unique content and how much your site is authorized. And some people who know the value of the pagerank they will definitely choose such site for regular visit those have higher pagerank.

    As A Webmaster, You Shouldn't be Bothered about the Pagerank Thing, Although its Valuable but from my own experience I noticed some sites with lesser Pagerank still do better and has more prominence than those with Higher Pageranks. Its not your pagerank that will make Your blog an Authority site but the quality of the content you have on your site.

    I will rather have 5000 Visitors or Readers who are pleased with what i have on My Low Pagerank Site than Have 20,000 Visitors from which less than 2000 find something beneficiary on my site though its got a higher pagerank.
    Content is always King.
