    Hi guys

I have a page on my website http://www.globalcashsite.com/onlineinvestment.php. Previously it was .htm created in Frontpage and I was trying to add some php file in .htm file but failed. Some people guided me to rename .htm file to .php and then add php file as we do in .php in normal way.

I changed .htm name to .php and added that .php file and now above page is working fine.

I also added redirection in cpanel from .htm to .php so I may not lose visitors from forums where I have posted .htm link.

Before changing it to .php my pagerank of .htm page was 1/10 but I checked after 1 week and it was 3/10. I was surprised how I got 2 points increase in my page rank without any extra effort. I did nothing i.e. extra marketing or links posting but I got 2 points increase.

Can you please give your idea how this was happened? Is php more seo friendly than .htm?

I got 2 points increase in 1 week without extra marketing by changing .htm file to .php?

    GCS
