Is Google Page Rank based on Alexa Ranking ?

    Is Google Page Rank based on Alexa Ranking ? I know its mainly based on backlinks ,contet and web design but If I somehow mange to get good alexa ranking for my site, then will it raise my Google Page Rank little bit.

    NO. Alexa is a very irrelevant and inaccurate metric and Google PageRank has NOTHING to do with it. Seriously, don't even worry about Alexa. For that matter don't worry much about PageRank either, just keep working on your site and your SEO.

    No..it not based on alexa but on the no. of links pointing to your site. INbound links affects the PR

    Nope Alexa rank has nothing to do with Google Pagerank this is calculated using algorithms through the number of backlinks and pagerank of these links to your website. Also through your websites link structure.

    Alexa and Google PR are not related. Alexa presents a rough gauge of your website traffic, which can be very inaccurate.
