hi .. i am getting a result through Alexa sparky bar and Mozilla plugging Google is no1 rankling but in alexa.com yahoo is no 1 ranking. can you getting the same result with this .
lol nice the dogs hit it again anyway is not so important I think the rank of alexa but ... sometime their status seems to be quite real lol
With that kind of traffic it makes little difference whether you are #1 or #2... I would settle to be in the top 10 any day of the week...
I think even before, Google really dominates in traffic for Google powered most of searches around that are not counted for google.
I always wondered earlier, why was google ranking 2nd in Alexa.... Probably these ranking guys are way too late in seeing the logical things than we common people! Regards, RightMan
I noticed that change recently to. Google just recently over took yahoo and is now number one in Alexa. But like pctec said, it doesn't really matter who is number one or number two.
It is because Google use country specific TLDs EG: google.com, google.com.au, google.co.nz, google.co.uk.. etc which Alexa treats as a separate website, giving each its own ranking. Yahoo on the other hand use subdomains for each country, like us.yahoo.com, au.yahoo.com, nz.yahoo.com uk.yahoo.com.. etc which Alexa treats as one single website with sub domains. Cheers James
What is so important about Google or Yahoo being no 1 in Alexa ? I think it is more important for us to know which search engine bring more traffic to our site and business.
