Seeing some pretty wild movement (unfortunately not all positive) from the Big G today. This is way more than the 'norm' and feels like something similar to what Mount Saint Helens happening. Anyone confirm?
Nothing special except that different datacenters are returning significantly different results. When performing queries from some of our servers we are seeing results that are 6 days old vs. the results I am seeing from my desktop. There is always some discrepancy, but it seems to be an awful lot right now.
We had a shake up over last week that left us in many more positive positions. It feels like old times, where things start jumping in diferent areas at different times. Not everyone sees changes with their serp listing at the same time, but over a period of time.
Nothing that I would call out of the ordinary. I do notice that depending on which datacenter I hit, our site has somewhere between 5,500 pages indexed, and 9,400 pages indexed. Pretty big influx, but may have something to do with the latest creation of our site map.
Noticed that the site in my sig has moved up to 9th on the SERPS. The funny thing is, we have like 8 back links in total and the main key term is searched fairly often per day. My site is currently listing 0 allinanchor text, which I'm working on fixing. All in all, I can't explain why we rank where we do.
