    Yes it is, depending on your user.

    Google maps shows you ur user by looking at the users IP. It shows the address of where the IP goes. If your user is using a proxy, it would show the location of where the proxy server is located.

    Ok along with the maps we also see a listing called News results in Google looking at the observations made here at http://ur.ly/2Xrx......are they taken from article directories ? :)

    Are you asking if Google News results come from article directories? If so, the answer is "no". Sites have to apply to be included in Google News, and it's actually not all that easy to get accepted.
