I want to preface this by saying it seems like undetected adware or something of the sort. When i click on Google links they get redirected to upsalepoint. com

Here is a related article on Yahoo Answers:

You should scan your computer for viruses, Google is working fine for me.
Your computer probably has a virus.

You should have probably tried testing the search on another PC before doubting the quality dished out by big G! :(

Google is giving good search results, as always and there is nothing bad about the links!

It sounds like a virus I had a couple of weeks ago. I used AVG Antivirus to clean it up.

It sounds like your computer has a redirect hijacker installed. What those scripts do, they will redirect the address that you want to go to with one of its pages. People use those highjackers to sale page views and traffic to other people.

Malicious software removal tools will usually clean those scripts up - and stop using internet explorer. Download spybot search and destroy, adaware and malware bytes. Then do a full system scan on your computer.

Not at all, and it just works fine in here..

Maybe you should check your own computer looking for viruses or hijackers mate :)

Its not Google.. Its your computer which is infected with adware or some kind of malware.
You better scan it with any good antivirus software.
