Dude, Calm down! If your website is not sandboxed then you are simply facing the weird Google Dance that has hit lots of other webmasters since the last Google PR update. I guess Google is just testing some Algos by doing this shuffling. One of my websites had the same problem and thankfully it did not take more than 2 weeks before everything was back to normal..
Stuff like this seems to happen all the time. I went from number 1 on the first page for one search term, down to page 23 of something - in 1 day. Then a week or so later and I am at number 2 on the first page - without changing anything. Go figure Sometimes time heals all wounds.
I had 2 sites absolutely disappear out of the rankings yesterday. #1, and #3 for the top search keywords. You can't even find them... Ridiculous.
Something similiar is happening to me. I had a feeling I was being penalized, but I'm going to wait it out until the next PR update. Hopefully everything will be back to normal
The thing is, my subpages are ranking however my optimized high backlink juicy homepage is not So now, instead of my homepage coming up on the 1st page for 10 keywords...... My subpages come up on like the 15th page for the same keywords, with the homepage nowhere to be found However, oddly enough..... I am still ranking 1st page for my homepage for 1 keyword... as well as my business name
One other thing I forgot to mention, and I dont know if this comes into play as well The extra links/content I put on my homepage, were from my 2nd most popular page of the site... so both pages had similar content on 1/5th of the page... the rest was unique Not sure if this matters, because my homepage is still ranking on the 1st page for 1 out of 10 of the keywords, as well as my business name........ however has disappeared for 9 out of 10 This is pretty crazy!!!
Calm down LinkMasterFlash, Tell me which off site and on site techniques u had done with your site!!? As i m also facing same problem any my site is not in SERPS from last few months... Waiting for quick reply.. Thanks Infograb
I didnt do any reciprocal linking type of things..... Everything on the site was fine, until I changed the homepage by adding 70 links to subpages & content from my 2nd most popular page...... I did it so that I would come up high in the SERP's for those keywords as well, since my homepage is strong....... I was coming up on the 1st page for at least 20 keywords in my niche..... now I only come up or 1, and my business name....... and my subpages rank for the rest of the keywords, but on the 10th page or worse.... and my homepage is nowhere to be found And, all of my competitors..... 15 out of 15 of them... are still in the same general spaces
Still having bad luck I see. I take it you didn't try OnlyWire.com, but did you at least try posting on Digg? You can put a url in the bottom without anchor text. At least that will bring the spiders back.
Here's another update.... The 1 out fo 10 keywords im still ranking 1st page for....... is now on the 6th page What the!!!
And that is a violation of Google's rules. And you are now paying the price. I suggest that you clean it up, file a reinclusion request begging forgiveness and don't pull that stuff again. /*tom*/
Hey buddy........ I'm in the same situation here........absolutely nothing that I can think of could have triggered it. Mine started this past monday.......
