    Check this out.

Google has launched a new content advisory system that labels search results that could be potentially problematic to your computer.

The only problem is, one of the first pages flagged is a harmless directory!

It will be interesting to see if this happens to other directories.

Well then the harmless directory wasn't always harmless or was loading something potentially harmful.

I noticed this on warez sites that try to force load stuff. Really doubt any harm to harmless directories.

    1. What is the directory you think is harmless?

    2. How do you know it is harnless?

    3. What do you mean, "one of the first pages flagged"?

I didn't see that. Now I can see why Google would like to use that message.

Huh? what does this have anything todo with directories, all it says that it flag a website that could be harmfull and it just happened to be a directory. As a whole this has nothing to do with directories being crack down. Your post is misleading and setting paranoia among us:rolleyes:

If site wishes to place some harmfull content on it's webpages, then it should be flagged...period and that's what it showed, a site that seem's to be harmfull, but never say anything to be a specific type of website, just the harmfull any type of sites. Nothing to do with Directories being "Crackdown!"

I've dugged-up a video and Matt Cutts was interviewed by WebProNews. The video interview sheds some lights on the do's and dont's.

Well the site in question had spyware stuff, even my zone alarm poped up messages. Nothing wrong with blocking such sites by google.
