Is Google Evil???

One of my sites went to PR3. Not that I care, I do not sell links, PR means absolutely nothing to me.

Now: I changed the content on the site on the 23rd of December. My cache shows the 29th...

However that 29th cached page is still the old content. How long does it take to update the cache?

    Happy New Year

Usually leads to 2 weeks or more, depending on which backlinks.
If you can, as of today more backlinks, can you see the new content faster.

It takes some time to see the cache. For instance on an established blog you should be able to find a new blogpost in google within an hour by searching for the text however you wont see the cache for maybe as much as a week.

Based on my own tests, it takes between 3 days and 2 weeks depending on the website backlinks values..
However, my highest was 3 days ;)

make quality BLa and also do some small changes on the content weekly at least and also in site map add updating intervel weekly. This will increase crawling rate
