Google will die but not because of Facebook improvement anyway. Facebook is originated as social bookmark + community like Myspace, Hi5 and others. If I would give a vote for real Google threat, I would give it to Bing and Entireweb instead.
Google will never end.. Google have a lot application and tool that other can't get early. Facebook can be second but not winner
Well, you can't replace Google with any other application like face book, because more than 80% of the whole internet traffic is coming from the Google, so even you can't replace Google with any other search engine too so be careful because Google is now the giant among all other search engines...
If to type 'google' in google it will break the internet, but not google Seriously, what's the point to compare these two different services?
I have switched social networking services so many time now.. Facebook is no match for Google from what I can see now.. Well, I can't predict the future.. Wait and see Hey, Google is going to buy Facebook.. LOL.. It's just possibility..
Google is and will be the site #1. they can buy Facebook like they have bought youtube, which is also a social network. yeah yeah, they are very very rich. but Zuckenberg is not so stupid to sell his creation
Let me assure you that Google won't Die until he himself want too or there is some massive changes or a born of an Extraordinary Search engine, Talking of Facebook you should be knowing that still almost 20% traffic to Facebook is from Google. If Microsoft and Yahoo together can't overcome the Giant Google- Facebook is nothing compared to them..
Remember Facebook 500Million visitors in a month. Google may end . but they may buy them when the competitor grows up
google has nothing to worry about, especially from facebook http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1044004
Facebook and Google probably have the biggest presence in our online lives, in varying degrees. To many Facebook is a complete social and media service and there is little need to venture outside facebook.com. Facebook users can share photos, videos, notes, links and aspects of their personal lives with their friends. They can create business pages to promote their business, message their friends using Facebook Chat and Facebook's messaging platform. From a social perspective it is a pretty complete and compelling solution. There are also a significant number of people who regard Google's services as the extent of their Internet experience. Google provides them with Gmail, Google Calendar, Youtube, Picasa, Blogger and, most importantly, Search. As the dominant search engine Google has become synonymous with Internet search, so much so that the word "Google" has become a verb. Google influences a significant portion of most Internet users' online experience and that influence is bound to increase as Google incorporates more and more social elements into its services including Friend Connect and its Open Social implementations. What concerns me is that how Google and Facebook handle users' personal information, which is an important issue, especially given that between Google and Facebook, they know quite a lot about us and about our habits and preferences.
I'm not convinced Google has seen its glory days. If you look at it from the perspective of generating revenue, what models other than adwords/adsense have they come up with? How long ago did adsense come out? Look at all the new competition from affiliate marketing and ad networks......Did you know google is moving into affiliate marketing???
no one knows the future so how people can say like this about the search engine. may facebook add search engine option in facebook and facebook also have million of user so anything is possible in future.
