(1) I noticed that Google updated its list of inbound links to my website www.instrumentpro.com a few weeks back. Usually I notice that Google will complete a major reindexing of the pages on my site shortly after this happens. Is Google doing a major reindexing of pages now? (2) Last time Google did a major reindexing of my site we lost tons of serps. We went from 300,000 + pages down to 75,000. I believe that this occured because of a change that we made in the site that triggered the PHP Session IDS to show. We have corrected this issue and are hoping that the next major reindexing will get us back to the same level of serps. I've noticed that Google has spidered many pages with PHP session IDS and it is my understanding that this most likely has created a duplicate content penalty against the domain. Is that a correct assumption? Can someone elaborate on this more. Also is there anything besides removing the PHP session IDS and waiting that may help correct the issue?
