Try checking the site command today. I had 3 sites that were banned (for no reason), then they all got PR (I noticed it a few days ago). Today they are all back in the index! :D

    I'm just ignoring Google :O

My life could not depend on its insanity hitting links, playing yo-yo-ranks, crawling backwards pages that not longer exist, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. :D

To me it looks like it only effects money keywords

my msn.spaces.com/webcamszoom11 won zoom11.com SEO contest
checkpoint on the first http://zoom11.com/seo/contest.htm scrool to bottom of page and you can see it was listed #1 and #2 on the first

Yesterday it did not list for the winning search phrase sex web cams zoom11 now listed at 123 and 124 droped 122 spots

    It is #2 for zoom11

So it looks like to me google has created a new filter
Filter only applies to money key words ie adsense bid over 1.00

my msn spaces carcasherdotcom seocontest site not affected
my spaces.msn.com/cpayscomonline/ got drop from #3 postion with competitors #2 spaces.msn.com/cpayscomonlinecasinos/ getting droped for cpayscom online casinos search

this new filter also droping university piggy back sites ie universitynews.com/piggybacker/keyword.html

Any one seeing anything else getting droped

Well my vehicle leasing company has dropped from 4th to 12th on its main keyword. (Contract Hire) :(

I really dont see why either though the domain is older than all the other sites above me, we have more links than all sites above us (Lots of high quality ones too), the site is made using divs and CSS and is valid other sites above use are not and keyword density is around the same as the top couple of sites.

So I dont know whats going on, I am unsure on just what to do next really.

My site is still under the 'aging delay' but in the last few days I've been getting a significant increase in hits from my primary targeted keywords. The strange thing is, when I do a search for those keysword I am page 13 yet apparently people are finding me with it - this suggests I'm only doing well on some datacenters?

By using this website I can confirm some datacenters are positioning my website #3 for my primary keywords yet on others I am completly no where to be seen.

Could anyone offer some sort of explanation?

Yeah we are currently having a algo update and you are going to do well by the sounds of it, once this update rolls out to all datacenters you should rank 3rd on all of them by the sounds of it well done matey. :)

Just wish mine was good news not bad this time. :(

Thanks! Maybe I'm breaking out of the aging delay and it's coincidence but I'm very happy either way :)

Anyone who is seeing any turbulence in their traffic and rankings, please just stay tight. This is the worst time to make any changes. Google has done this before many times. Once it is all over, yeah, you might see some (or even none) changes, but if you were ranking well before and there has not been a major change in what your competitors are doing, you will come out to be OK. Even an algorithm tweaking (there is no such thing as algorithm change) does not affect good websites in any way. I have one website that has been going up since last 7 years consistenly and we do not optimization at all - just put good content and link to related articles. In fact my colleague who runs it almost independently is one of the most non-technical person in the office. And since ain't broken, webmasters like me have chosen to stay away from tinkering with it.

The domain name for the site of mine that has dropped is over 8 years old.

Like I say amount of links are higher than the sites that have overtook me and content is better than sites that have overtook me.

    Not a happy chappy. :(

But I will just have to wait and see as when changes happen you can lose a load of places and then by the end of the update it seems to sort its self out.

Sigh, the results for my site bounce all around

One minute I'm on page 3, then 7, then 11, then 5, then 2. I'm hoping that it stabilizies for my site some day.... pre 'Big Daddy' days.

Yeah same here but it looks like I am gonna lose that soon as on other datacenters I have dropped down to 12th. :(
    I was 2nd a few weeks ago.

I will just have to wait and see how it pans out though.

Worst comes to worst I will have to have a play around to try and get my position back but it is not worth worrying to much till the update is over and done with.

Last weeks figures was still the best ever so it is not the end of the world, yet!
