I see a major change in ranking on 40% of my sites. With pages going to the first page and bouncing back to 3rd or 4th page every hour and sometimes few times in an hour... Can anybody else confirm a major change in google SERP's. A sort of fluctuation in ranking or a drastic change in organic traffic to their sites.. IN past such events were attributed to a Google Dance: Do post any changes to your sites ranking...
People have been experiencing fluctuations, right after the major update on 1st of Jan. I have seen people complaining of drops in PR with restoration of the same after couple of days...I wonder if this is going to be the routine process at google? Regards, RightMan
One of my weight loss blog gets tons of traffic recently. Adsense impression increased tremendously. I never do any SEO for it and never update for months. The traffic is better than my main blog traffic that I spend most of my time in SEO and traffic generating techniques.
Nine of my top keywords are performing better...by an average of 4 positions up in rankings. These rankings have been holding firm all week, with only minor fluctuations of one position one way or the other. Our sites' visitors are coming back after the holiday slump; all sites' visitor stats are up an average of 15%.
This Might be based Google's Personalized Search Patterns I would check on multiple DCs Your checking you ranking too frequently you are probably causing this yourself by to search term search and viewing your ranking but not clicking through each time you reduce the unique visit number and the bounce rate. Causing the search results to be re-ordered. This is a part of Google's Personalized Search in which Google will use your Search History data or patterns to refine your results based on your own searching habits or other local to your geo-location. They do this in theory to provide results more relevant to the search term. I am not only talking about the results with Customized based on recent search activity. More details in the top right hand corner but the actual results from the particular google data center server you are searching on. I hope this helps you can look up some google patent applications that might give some insight into the isssue seobythesea has a good list www.seobythesea.com/?p=328 appft1.uspto.gov pat# 20060224583 pat#200602245871 pat#20060224938 pat#20060224624
last day i got lot of traffic from google and my site is on 1st place At google for a very good keyword but now i lost it again and also traffic too ... well if it is a google dance then i love it and i won't mind if google will continue dance 2 or 3 times in a week lol
I always check from multiple computers, and even asked people outside my particular geographic location because it was such a positive change on Monday. We all had the same results. These keywords are also performing better since the change. I have a silly question about personalized search. If I do not click my web site in the organic Google results when I am searching my keywords, it won't move my web site up in the results, right? I never click my web site because that is how I understand this function works.
