Is Google Custom Search/Yahoo BOSS equivalent to the regular Google/Yahoo results?

    Google Custom Search is a paid API from Google that returns 100 queries for a search on Google. There is a way to make it a WWW search (just like regular Google Search Engine).

    Similarly, YAHOO BOSS(Build Own Search) is a paid API from Yahoo that returns Yahoo results.

    What I am confused about is, can the Google Custom Search results be taken as regular Google Search results, in a WWW search on Custom Search?

    Similarly, can Yahoo BOSS results be taken to be Yahoo Search results?
